Introducing Christina
Christina Baird, our founder, and self-described kindness consultant, is a psychologist with a PhD in Psychology. Her extensive career includes roles in university tutoring, leadership development, training, support and recruitment of aid and development workers and supporting patients and families in palliative care. This diverse experience has provided her with a rich background in human behaviour and the transformative power of kindness. Christina’s dedication to reshaping workplaces began during her PhD research into gender discrimination in the workplace and continued to grow as she worked to increase well-being and resilience in caregiving professions. She firmly believes that kindness is the magic ingredient that workplaces need to increase resilience and diversity while reducing stress, preventing burnout and helping people love their work.
About The Kindness Workshop
The Kindness Workshop, founded by Christina Baird in early 2024, aims to cultivate a movement of kindness that transforms workplaces. Our goal is to create work environments where individuals feel supported to show up as themselves and delight in their work. By cultivating a culture of kindness, we can create thriving workplaces with a foundation of collaboration, respect, and genuine connection, improving the impact for clients, staff and the organisation. Join us in building the kind of workplaces needed today, where kindness drives impact and everyone has the opportunity to flourish.
Our Mission
In a world that is increasingly complex and unpredictable, anxiety and stress levels are rising. At The Kindness Workshop, we believe workplaces should be kind, safe base-camps - where staff are supported and equipped to do their best work. Our mission is to assist leaders and teams to disrupt systems and cultures that don’t allow people to flourish and to replace them with create cultures of care. We primarily work with organisations in the helping professions such as healthcare, social services and Not For Profits, where the work inherently involves a caring or emotional component. Frontline workers in these settings benefit the most from a culture of care that enhances their resilience and effectiveness. By cultivating kindness, we aim to build workplaces that not only support employees but also create a greater impact for everyone involved.
Our Services
At The Kindness Workshop, we turn psychological principles into actionable skills, attitudes, and daily habits that empower individuals and organisations to cultivate kindness. We believe self-kindness and kindness to others are essential for making a meaningful and sustainable impact. So kindness is central to our coaching, training and therapy services. Our services include leadership development coaching, in-person workshops, and therapy for those experiencing burnout. By fostering a culture of care, we enhance resilience and improve outcomes for both individuals and organizations.
